Irene M. McMullen

Irene M. McMullen, born on July 31, 1943, in the warmth of loving arms, peacefully departed this life on February 16, 2026, in LaGrange, Ohio. She was a cherished member of her family and a beloved friend, known for her unwavering love and dedication to those who surrounded her.

Irene enjoyed a fulfilling life rich in familial bonds, marking her 64 years of marriage to her devoted husband, Tim McMullen. Together, they created a nurturing environment that was a sanctuary for their four children: Patrick, Vincent, Danny, and Peggy. Irene's legacy continues through her grandchildren Timothy, Vinny, Dawn, Luke, and Danielle, along with many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren who will carry her memory forward.

Beyond her profound commitment to family, Irene had a passion for collecting butterfly and angel figurines, which reflected her vibrant spirit and gentle nature. Her home was filled with these beautiful mementos, each telling a story of a life well-lived and loved.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Mary Wolf, and several brothers and sisters, who have surely welcomed her with open arms. She leaves behind her brother, Richard Wolf, and sister, Judy Klingshirn, who will remember her with fondness and love.

A visitation in her honor will take place on February 19, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cowling Funeral Home Inc., located at 228 S Main St, Oberlin, OH 44074. A Mass celebrating her life will follow on February 20, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace, situated at 708 Erie St, Grafton, OH 44044, concluding at 12:00 PM.  Burial will follow at Rockwood Cemetery.
